This site is written and run by one person: the owner-operator of a small hotel in Centum City, Busan. Please read these terms before relying on anything here.

Who writes this

I run a hotel in Busan, and this site links to it. That is a commercial interest, and I would rather state it plainly than bury it. Where a post recommends my own hotel, I say so in the post itself. Where I recommend somewhere else, I receive nothing for it.

Accuracy, and its limits

Everything here is written from first-hand visits and checked against official sources at the time of writing. But prices, opening hours, seasons, transport schedules and admission rules in Busan change, sometimes at short notice and sometimes without announcement.

Treat the figures on this site as the shape of a cost or a schedule, not as a quotation. Before you rely on any specific price, time or date, confirm it with the operator directly. I correct errors when I find them, but I cannot promise every page is current on the day you read it.

Not professional advice

Nothing here is legal, financial, medical or safety advice. Beach conditions, weather and water safety in particular are matters for the lifeguards and authorities on site on the day, not for a blog post.

Haeundae Blue Line Park: The Beach Train, the Sky Capsule, and Which One to Book

My hotel sits a few subway stops from Haeundae Beach, and the old railway line running east from the far end of that beach has become one of the most photographed things in Busan.
